I hope it's obvious to you that this music sounds "Chinese". Why though? Does it use a Major Pentatonic scale? parallel harmony in fourths and fifths? portamento?

The main motif sticks to the pentatonic notes do, re, mi, sol, and la. As a whole, though, the music ... (1 comment)
